A snowfall similar to yours was recently in Ukraine. For us the winter has begun only after January, 16th. Then Kiev (capital) for the day received almost 80% of the monthly rate of snow. And in my region (the center of the country), there was such abundant wet snow that the fences fell, the lines of Energy 220/380 Volt were torn and people were sitting without even Internet connection!
