I have many photos that made me left speechless, but the one I’m about to post is my favorite even though it’s not the best that I have.
This photo was taken during my safari trip in Kenya last October. They have the best sunsets I have ever seen, and I made sure to witness the sunset every single day of my trip.
During my safari trip, I was obviously not alone. There were plenty of other tourists, nature lovers, who brought with them very expensive cameras and lenses so they could get the best pictures and videos of lions, leopards, elephants, you name it…
However, sunsets are very interesting… It’s one of the rare occasions where almost nobody used their camera. Some pictures were taken at the beginning, but it was then followed by 10–15 minutes of simply enjoying the sunset slowly going down… It’s almost as the world stopped spinning and nothing else mattered. Everyone’s eyes were on the sunset.
When I witnessed that sunset, a lot went through my mind, especially my past. I remembered all the hardships I had to go through, and how I somehow managed to make it to Kenya… I started to think of people I truly cared about and how I wish they were there with me…
The nature really has a way to interact with your brain… That’s why I keep traveling. I never went further than my first year at high school, but I like to believe that life is my university. I learn so much from traveling…
