Center of the Universe, at least here in Argentina, everything takes place here, in this place argentinians come together in furious demonstrations or amazing celebrations.
From festivities to military coups. This square was partially destroyed in a bombing from the Argentine Navy in 1955.
From celebrations to political demostrations, like all the 10 of December, the Human Rights day, during the Cristina Kirchner administration.
From bullets to death, during the tragic December of 2001, in wich five protesters were killed in this same square, the same that saw our independency from Spain taking place in 1816.

De balas a muerte, durante el trágico Diciembre del 2001, cinco manifestantes fueron asesinados en esta misma plaza, la misma que vió declarar nuestra independencia de España en 1816.
