Sandy Shores And A Hungry Raccoon

in #photography5 years ago

These are sandy shores that I came across during the hiking I did on some paths near the Blowing Rocks Preserve (the subject of the previous post ). Supposedly there should have been tortoises but I didn't see any.

After a little while driving up north of Florida we decided to go and take a swim somewhere.
For that, we went to Ft Pierce Inlet State Park. Of course, we had to pay to get in because many state parks are paid to enter in Florida, don't know if it's like that in all of the US.

This is the first time we went swimming while in Florida, until then we just have been enjoying beaches and dipped in only our feet.

When we went back to the car, I ate my leftover lunch from a restaurant in the parking lot. Just then a wild raccoon appeared out of the woods. Probably smelled some food. He/she was scared a little of us but was also pretty confident to get a bit of my food.

I have heard that some people are scared of them but in my opinion, they are pretty adorable 😄.

I had some pieces of egg and some tomatoes left so I decided to give it to him.
The raccoon ate all of it but was hoping to get some more. I gave him/her no more of my precious food.
Here is a shot I took with a phone of this raccoon eating my food.

Aaahgg! I wanna see a raccoon!!!
I heard if you piss them off, they can shred your face off but nevertheless they're so cute!!!

I was a bunch of baby raccoons too in Miami, such a marvelous sight. Unfortunately, I have no pics of it.

They certainly have claws capable of shredding but they look so harmless 😄

Aaawww! Now I gotta google baby raccoons 😭
