Walpurgis night isn't really a thing in Estonia, but it's part of the Student Days every year. Everyone go to city centre, next to Emajõgi, where everyone can see a small concert and lots of fireworks.
Bonfire
This year the band was estonian rock band Elephants from Neptune. I barely know any of their song, but heard of them a lot. Stage was on Kaarsild. The whole bridge was closed.
The fireworks were behind the stage, in front - basically, fireworks almost from every direction. It was better than New Year's, but smaller. There also was a bonfire on Emajõgi. Coolest part was the beginning, where drones were flying around with fire. Both sides of Emajõgi were filled with people, mostly students, but also kids and elders.
"Sky full of stars"
Student Days is the event meant for students in universities. It's happening twice a year - one in spring and one in autumn. There are lots of events that citizens can take part too and see what students are doing. This year's first day was on 23rd of April, but it continued on 28th of April. It's ending on 5th of May.
The biggest one that probably everyone is waiting for is the Night Song Festival. Usually it's on first day, but this year it's on last day. Other one is Night Dance Festival. There has been Karsumm (Flying Machine Contest) and Boat Race that I wanted to see, where teams make their own boats, put on costumes, but I had to be at work. I can make it to Song and Dance Festival, which I'm happy about. It's gonna be so much fun.
