- Whoosshh - Time flies ! It's amazing to see how Steemit has developed over the years and months I've been away. I stopped with posting about a year ago because I didn't had any content anymore to share. Due to my studies, deadlines & stress I also didn't have enough energy to spend time blogging here. _________________________________________________________________
But the good news, on the other hand, is that I have some new content to share!
Let's start with my "oldest" new work - Wasteland -, a sort of fashion/warrior shoot which was ment to take place in/represent a desert, but actually it was just in a natural park in the busy city of Antwerp. Because why not? I didn't have any possibility of traveling to another location, so I decided to look a little closer.
Eventually, looking back at it now, I could have gotten a lot more out of it. But on the other hand it was a nice opportunity to learn how to work with some speedlite flash lights on location, and to show that anything can be done, even if your location doesn't turn out as you hoped it would be.

The Experiment
For a school project I decided to experiment a little bit with printing on transparent sheets and spreading ink with all kind of liquids. - Important to mention is that I, in my dumb and not clearly thinking actions, almost created chloramine by wanting to mix bleach and ammonia. Which could be fatal when inhaled ... -
SO if there's anything I've learned that day, is that mixing bleach and ammonia is a very bad idea, and that ammonia itself created the "best" result of which I wanted to achieve. In my opinion it's not yet really what I wanted, but because of the lack of time & many other projects I didn't had enough time to experiment properly.
For the experiment I decided to print each color of the CMYK colors separated on different transparent sheets, on which I then experimented with different liquids such as bleach and ammonia - not mixed though. ;)

Even though it was just a simple experiment, I did like the results that came out of it, what do you think?
