Yesterday I visited a garden shop and I was honestly surprised in the best way. They don’t just sell the usual supplies, this place also has a lot of ornamental plants, the kind that instantly makes you stop and stare. It’s amazing how these kinds of businesses still thrive even in a city. I guess it’s because people really like nature like I do, even if we’re surrounded by concrete and noise.

No matter how developed a city becomes, we will still depend on nature. We still need plants, trees, and flowers, not only for the obvious reasons like air and balance, but also for the way they soften our mood. The world wouldn’t look as beautiful without greeneries. Even a single leaf can change the vibe of a space. Even a small flower can make a corner feel alive.
That’s why I enjoyed looking around the shop so much. I took my time photographing the plants that caught my attention. I focused on the shapes and textures, leaf veins, tiny petals, layered foliage, and those quiet details that don’t need loud colors to be appreciated. I edited this set in black and white because it makes the textures stand out more. It feels calm, clean, and a bit timeless, like the plants are showing their structure and character in a simpler way.
I also bought a plant that I’ll put in my room. It’s a small thing, but I know it will make my space feel more refreshing. And of course, after walking around and taking photos of the other plants too, I ended up wanting more than one. Hopefully when I revisit the shop, I’ll have to bring another plant home as well.
For now, I’m happy I got to be around greenery again, even inside the city.
Have a good day ahead.
