I like it. There seems to be a growing belief online that the horizontal striations you can see here are the result of strip-mining on a heretofore unimagined scale. What are the facts? Were the rocks that make up these mountains once formed by sedimentation - hence the layering? I would love to know more! Thanks for the picture. :-)
