Your friend's a good photographer. That first shot was time just right, with the sun peeking around the end of the wing. Perfect weather for it, too!

It's been awhile since I've flown anywhere, but the last time I flew, I timed it so that I would be over the Atlantic at "sunset" and flying into night under a full moon. I wanted a good flight shot! lol
