Heres a look through a 24x scope at one of my favorite ranges in Southern California. Piru shooting range.
If you have the chance to shoot here, I would highly recommend it. Great rifle range for sure. They have targets out to 600 and a steel target at 1000 yards way up on the mountain side.
Usually some decent winds, but still a nice experience. This must have been just after some nice rains we got judging by how green everything is.
I just looked up the place the California Tactical Academy in Ventura county. That place looks legit!!! Maybe I need to make the drive from SAn Diego one of these days.
I used to live in SD for 5+ years. Great town. Moved up to LA. A couple nice outdoor ranges here.
