In the mids of all the rally car watching and shooting last weekend, I had to capture this sunset too. Every other picture was a rally car, and every other of the sky, it was hard to decide which one so I prefer. Skyporn is one of my favourite things to shoot, but rally cars are more rare. Luckily the rally cars came appropriately every two minutes so I had some time to look at the sky too, I don't like to make compromises.
These are shot from the middle of Jyväskylä, during the Harju (=ridge) stage, which was the first official stage of Rally Finland.
Shot with the Nikon D7200 and Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8.
This couple sure had the best view for the race!

Skyporn - first time I've heard that term, and I like it. That is the only time of day I get really relaxed. But if it's porn, shouldnt it be stimulating? Idk, I'm no expert on this.

We all have our own fetishes,I'm sure of it. And skyporn is definitely something that gets me excited, and it's really hard for me to look away, I want to get closer and touch it. Sounds kinda like watching porn, doesn't it?
That is true - I also have a hard time looking away, and I want to get closer and touch. But yet it's kind of soothing. It's like a romantic variety of porn :)
