On this morning as the dawn approached a ground fog formed. The ground fog added to the dramatic effects of the dawn to sunrise photos.

Sunrise Video
This video has a few more breaks than normal. This is because as I was watching and photographing the horizon, I was also watching and photographing a cloud in the sky.
As the photographs were stitched together into this video, I noticed a slight shift from one frame to the next. It was not intended, but it does add to the dramatic effect of the sunrise.
All the photographs taken have been compiled into a short 7 minute 6 second video. Music: "Symphony No. 5" by Beethoven.

You really are consistent in taking the sunrise every morning. Those are lovely photos especially with the effect of the fog.

Each morning I wake up and look outside (sometimes through dirty or fogged up windows) to see if the sunrise will be colorful. Some days, I just climb back in bed. But usually I setup my camera behind one of my windows that is not fogged up. I am taking the pictures behind a double pane window in my house.
One morning I went outside to take the sunrise photos and my camera lens started fogging up after 15 minutes.
I was outside cleaning the windows today. I just hope the windows I cleaned are not fogged up in the morning.

Wow, You're so lucky to have that view and at least sometimes you dont have to leave the house to capture all of thos moments. We don't have that kind of view from our house. I think that would be my dream view if ever I get a house in the future.

First light happens before dawn, before the highest point of the Sun achieves the skyline. Cosmic Dawn is the time when it ends up conceivable to identify light in the sky, when the sun is 18° beneath the skyline. Nautical Dawn happens at 12° beneath the skyline, when it winds up conceivable to see the skyline appropriately and recognize a few articles. Common Dawn happens when the sun is 6° beneath the skyline and there is sufficient light for exercises to occur without fake lighting.
Very interesting. I have never seen the breaking dawn delineated in this way!

I'm sorry I asked too many questions, because I'm curious. apologize first
I try to wake up each morning before the sun rises. I scan the horizon to see what kind of sunrise it will be. If I think it will be a nice sunrise then I setup my Canon 7D camera and start clicking off pictures. After getting all the photos, I download them to my computer and use Adobe Premiere to edit the photos into a video. More information on the equipment and software is at the bottom of the blog post.

Love this post. I am trying to make some movies and put some music into them. I assume it is easy to get permission to use Mozart and Beethoven pieces without copyright issues.
The photos I take are made into a video without audio on Adobe Premiere. Once I am satisfied with the video I upload it to YouTube. Using YouTube's Creator Studio to edit the video, I click on the Audio tab to find royalty free audio clips from YouTube.
There are hundreds of music selections to choose from. When I find the right music I click "add to video" and YouTube adds it to the uploaded video. That is how I use YouTube's music library to avoid copyright strikes.

I am still learning about photography and my camera.
The best tip I can give is "practice". I started photography back in the days of film cameras. Practicing and experimenting in those days was a little more tedious. I would try one new technique, take a bunch of pictures, then wait a few days to a week while the film is developed. It is so much easier now with digital photography. You get instant feedback on how a shot came out.

Sometimes it is hard to select just the right music from YouTube that does not result in a copyright strike and is the correct length of time for the video.
I agree the music is a bit overly dramatic for the video. It is one of my favorite classical pieces though!

oh i totally understand you. its like very constraining on youtube. you will get copyright strike even if you think of suitable music for your video. even if a person use" fair use "and no monetary intention in mind. they are still strict about it....
