Wow! you climbed Fuji!
Cheers to you! What a story of your climb!
I did felt like I was losing my breathe in the Sphinx in Switzerland and I didn't even climb it I was just walkin in a tunnel to get to the view point outsided and was runnin out of breathe walkin to it, it's more than 3, 500m only so I can't imagine how hard it must have been to you going up there on a hike. Funny how a small bird like a sparrow could even inspire. A friend of mine said to combat the cold up there, they were given bottles to store their pee in - gross but kept them warm in their tents specially during the night.
I think because I started at 2400m by the time I got up higher I was used to it. But it was definitely a work out. I've climbed that much before but never at that altitude.
I've been in the Rockies higher, but never the Alps.
