Sydney’s Manly Beach - The world famous beach and an iconic Australian landmark.

Hello everyone,
My name is Duc, an architect who love photography. I've been taking photos regularly for almost 10 years. In the past, I only took and kept photos for myself as a hobby, and now I decide to share them to the world. I will post one photo every day with a little note of explanation. I hope you like it!

Manly Beach is located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, just a few minutes walk form Manly Cove where the Manly Ferry docks in at Manly Wharf on Sydney Harbour. Manly Beach is considered as a world famous beach and an iconic Australian landmark. It offers the unique combination of wide ocean beaches on one side and serene sandy harbour coves and inlets on the other. Manly Beach has vast open stretches of golden sand and is key to the development of Australia’s surfing & beach culture and the aquatic playground for many of Australia’s surfing champions.

I spent a whole day to explore the area, especially the soft, velvet-like sand stretches for three kilometres along the sea, and white-tipped waves curl toward the beach as their rhythmic sounds drown out the indistinguishable chatter of visitors around me. When strolling along the coastal area I did really enjoyed delicious smells of grilled meat and French fries waft over, as cackling birds fight over scraps of food strewn about by generous tourists and a lot of interesting activities there. I also did not forget to take some photos of the stunning sunset scenary as well as a time-lapse video. Hope you enjoy it!
