Thanks @doitvoluntarily. I'm in Chieng Mai untill the 26th or 27th it's 700KM north of Bankok way up north. I haven't been to the beach in Thailand from what I understand the good ones are more then 1000KM south of here. The main reason I'm in this city is that it's cheap to rent an apartment and I can do work online. But my next visit I'll maybe visit some town on the beach.
i have a friend who lives there 6 months out of the year and has told me about how cheap it is.. another reason to visit! lol
