It used to be an Atlas Obsucara type area to visit while wandering on the backroads of Nevada

Then they decided to cut it down..

Now its just a stump with random debris and garbage everwhere..

So I'm glad more people have phones and editors and are more capable of taking quality shots. to catch the things before we dont get a chance to catch them again!

Thanks for looking. Follow, resteem if you would. And drop a line below even if its just to say hi and get a follow from me!

Who are THEY?

No one ever found out who did it :( .. Similarly, I posted pictures at goblin valley the other day. And a few years ago a video came out of a guy pushing one of the rocks down. Saying it was dangerous because it could fall. It was a sad day..

Basically some people are just horrible :(

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Ralston

Aron Lee Ralston survived a canyoneering accident in southeastern Utah in 2003 during which he amputated his own right forearm with a dull pocketknife in order to extricate himself from a dislodged boulder, which had him trapped in Blue John Canyon for five days and seven hours

Yes, that was a really big story here. he was lone going through a slot canyon when the rock fell on him. Ive never took time to read his book though ive heard it was good. And I never watched the movie they made either. but it was an interesting story.. He actually had to break his bone in his arm and cut around the break because the pocket knife wouldnt cut the bone
