Ok, so I'm a guy commenting on this picture set. I can understand your reservations from the perspective of photog and subject, and I appreciate the fact you have such reservations.

But I think it's also useful to note that some of the greatest painters in history have done nudes and they did not appeal to the base. They appealed to eroticism, to sensuality, to intimacy, and they did so with class, dignity and respect. Your photos seem to capture that spirit.

The female form is a wonder to behold and its appeal evolved over time to aid in continuing the family line, to overcome the size of our brains and their capacity to set aside instinctual desires. I think perhaps it is when we can set aside those instinctual desires, that we can best appreciate such images.
