Just livin life to the fullest

Man, it seems like forever since my last post here on Hive. It's crazy that I used to be posting everyday, and when I was doing my photography contests, sometimes I would make multiple posts.

Ever since my grandson was born, I have been trying to focus my energy and attention to him and soaking in every moment that I can with him. I missed out on this time with my own kids, so it has been really good for me to get this time. It's like a dream come true and something that I am sure most grandparents wish that they could have with their grandkids.

It is pretty cool that my daughter is following in my footsteps with photography because that means I get cool pictures of me with my grandson. It is really cool that whenever we want to, we can just do professional photo shoots around the house or the backyard. Most people pay $200 or more to have photos taken and we just do it whenever we feel like it.

Theo has been doing great. He is two and a half months old and is learning so much. He is fighting his naps and wants to stay up as long as possible. So while he is up, we just show him around the world. He wasn't a huge fan of the grass, but I feel if we keep putting him down in it, he will get used to it. It won't be long before he is running around the backyard.

I can't wait for him to play in the sprinkler. I got a bubble blower and a ton of bubble juice and I can't wait to see his face light up when he sees bubbles. Right now he isn't able to focus on them as they move cause they fall too fast, but it won't be long until he loves playing with them.

Being a grandparent is probably the coolest stage of my life so far. I am glad that my wife and I started working out consistently a few years back and that we got our diets under control because we are both in the best shape of our lives. It is really cool to be in such great shape in this stage of my life. Especially considering I almost died a few years ago. My body has completely recovered from the blood clots and the damage they did to my lungs.

Be sure to get outside and touch the earth. Your health should be a huge priority because without your health, you wont have a great quality of life. I am excited to be around for my grandkids and to be able to play with them and keep up with them. Life is short, so make sure to be present for it.
