Oh wait. I think I get it. The girl was saying: some boy promised to fix her scar on her arms.
And then you ask her back, what is there to fix since the scar wasn't really obvious.
Is that the story you're trying to tell?

almost David,... the scars are self inflicted. she did them to herself. she did them to herself for some reason, something about herself that she wasn't happy with perhaps. Like everyone, she has parts of herself that she doesn't like.
And she met someone that said he would "fix" her,... meaning make her normal....
For me, our individual "not normal" is what makes us who we are, the bad parts are still part of "who" we are individually. It may be our past, but our past is still a part of us, probably a bigger part than we'd like to admit,... fighting that can cause all kinds of anxieties so accepting it might be one way of dealing with who we are or were so that we can go on to become who we would like to be.
so,... I'm saying that there is nothing to "fix" but instead accepting and understanding might be the better path.
I hope that helps :)
Wonderful explanation. Well said on the philosophy of life. Could have put this explanation in the post and make this a big hit. Gambatehzka
