Colour or B&W which do you Prefer?

This is the “V” tip of Rundle Mountain, as seen from the Bow Falls area, town of Banff, Alberta. On this one I’m going with colour - by a hair.

I prefer the color. I can see the trees in the distance. On the b&w version it's just shadow.

I’m goin to have to go with color also. The dark green trees on the mountain slope disappear when in B&W. Seeing that deep dark green really enhances the pic.

I agree with that, thanks @jlsplatts!

This one I am going to say black and white. I like the way the texture of the black above the rocks looks like velvet.

I agree with you @daveks, and with @jlsplatts, the contrasting colors of the trees looks best in living color.

Nice shot @daveks I've got to go with the color on this one. The b/w is a nice shot on it's own, but the color really makes this one pop for me. The greens in the foreground is nice, but it adds even more texture to the mountains than the b/w.

Thanks for looking @ksteem!

Although it is the same photograph, it looks very different in color, and in black and white ... Both are beautiful! However, I would use the second one for a postcard...
There is NOT one of all your photos that I didnt like.
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS! EXCELLENT WORK!

Thanks for the kind words!

This time......
