Steampunk

I have mentioned before about the Steampunk that has taken place in Lincoln the last few years. It usually takes place on the Bank Holiday that occurs at the end of August, which means that usually at this time of the year all of the participants are creating their outfits, and preparing for the event. Some are prepared better than others, and then will be many late nights trying to finish their creations

This years event of course has been affected by the coronavirus, so instead all we can do is reminisce on the photos of the fabulous costumes from previous years, and at least we get extra time to prepare for next years event.

There is always so much variety and creativity on show at these events...

...and as long as you include some steampunk goggles, it appears anything goes.

The outfits worn by this couple was actually what they chose to get married in the previous year! How awesome is that!
