I remember hitting rock bottom once. For me it’s the point when your so deep that you can’t see any light from the water surface above. In other worse it’s complete darkness and no hope for light.
My dad then told me, look at the bright side, it’s always the darkest before dawn. We all have ups and downs life is about accepting this roller coaster of life.
So what does my first picture have to do this ?
As a matter of fact it has a lot to do with it. With age comes wisdom, and for me, it’s the realization that I am in charge of my own happiness or the light at the end of the tunnel when times are hard.
So during this dark time of the year in Sweden, when there is much more darkness than light, you have to create your own moments where you take care of yourself and remind yourself that spring and warmth are not so far away.
For me it’s the small things. Like making a fire. Getting a glass of wine and just enjoying the moment.
How do you feel about happiness and what do you do to create it ?
Looks like pure heaven to me :)
Thanks :) it’s enjoyable with a warm fire these days
Little moments like that do it for me.

Sometimes it’s the small things that make the big difference. Do you have a fireplace at your house ? I’m guessing you have a sauna? Hehe I don’t have one just yet
We have both.
Thats awesome
