This photo was taken in Shanghai next to the Bund - which is the area where the river runs through the city. When I was crossing the road I realized it would be a good shot - the green pedestrian light already started blinking so I knew it would soon be red. But as a true tourist I had the camera hanging on my neck and was able to take this photo.

This is a great shot and as others said, the arrow is tantamount to the genius of this photo. In art we are always trying for a good proportion that will draw the viewer in and this is almost a play on it with the arrow saying. "Look this way to the horizon line" So, it has a bit of humour in it as well, which I love.
