WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I am starting the week #14 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia. I am truly sorry to be one day late but my long distance travels did not allow me to do it earlier. For this reason I will roll out Australian Monday post right after this one. If you like to participate then place your personal image from your travels within Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 150 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $1600 in upvotes and 300 SBD in rewards.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge after Asia today will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on Sunday.
• Australia and New Zealand
• Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Africa
• Europe
• North America
• South America

I've been lucky enough to visit 5 different cities in India. I think it's such a beautiful, interesting country. But my favorite of the cities I've been to has to be the holy city of Varanasi. I took a walk across the many ghats that line the Ganges River. The colors here are so vibrant and this particular set of steps really grabbed my attention. Even 7 years later, I still remember this trip very fondly.
Thank you so much for your entry. Due to a large number of submissionsI did pick other images to go further this time. Thank you for understanding. Have a great day. Tomas
Merry Christmas
This picture is from a Very Holy Lake Gosaikunda, a lake situated at about 4380 meters above sea level falls under Dhunche-Gosaikunda-Helambu trekking route. Lying at Langtang National Park, it is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal.
Gosaikunda lake is a sacred/holy lake with a religious context related to Hindu God Lord Shiva.
There's no lake in the picture though. Enjoy the breathtaking Scenery from Langtang Himalayan Range.
In the Picture: A friend of Mine :)
Brilliant capture friend!
What a great capture!
He he :) Today is about Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. Its area is 739 km², and it includes the 165 square kilometer Cheow Lan Lake contained by the Ratchaprapha Dam. The park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon rain forest. It is amazing to see crystal clear water and lots fish under water.
I definitely recommend you taking three days in that park - to spend nights in floating houses, to go to the jungle and to go swimming and kayaking around lots of fantastic iceland's.
Be sure to click on the image to view fishes!
This is stunning @aurumv!
Thank you
Great image, thank you for your submission. The winner announcement will be posted shortly. Tomas
This photo was taken in the north east of Bali. In the distance you can see Mount Agung, the volcano that has been erupting recently and causing all sorts of travel problems in the region.
Wow, simply stunning! Tomas
My boyfriend and I spent a month travelling through Laos from south to north and one of the last places we ended up was Luang Prabang. The city is beautiful and this was my favorite spot, right in the middle of all this beauty.
Thank you so much fro your entry. Look fabulous. Tomas
In this photo i going to show you the impressive Singapore Skyline from a different perspective. Beginning on the left side, you'll see the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with his Shopping center, followed by the Singapore Flyer and the ArtScience Museum. And finally on the right side by the water front, the Formula One Pit Building. This photo was taken from the Benjamin Sheares Bridge.
What an excellent image! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Thanks a lot Tomas!
Shot at Side, Turkey few years ago while resting at nice hotel nearby the sea. It is quite interesting, when all hotel guests at that time are going for a nice dinner (5 stars / ALL INCLUDED hotel), the true photographer never miss opportunity to make a golden hour photoshoot :)
Pier and the sailing ship making composition more interesting, while waves caught on a bit longer exposure adding nice movement effect
Enjoy :)

Theoretically yes.. :D

Rappelling in Railay
This shot was taken from a cave before we rappelled down. It was my first visit to Thailand and I was on a volunteer trip. On our first weekend we had free time to explore south of Thailand. One of the most memorable trips I have ever done.
Fabulous shot! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Mighty Himalayas , Play of Nature!
The photograph was taken at Himalayan range of Ladhak, India during my 2 weeks long motorcycle ride to 'Top of the World' back in 2009.Shot with an entry level canon dslr on 18-55mm lens with very minor editing in lightroom. This was my first visit here, I was amazed and surprised to see India had such mind-blowing remote terrain mostly looking out of this world. You may see a truck and a car if you look closely :)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Cheers!
Faublous entry! Thank you so much for posting and sharing with everyone. Tomas

Kaangrian Falls
Hidden gem of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. This waterfall is rarely visited due to its location. With the way people treat nature here, it's good that it's not well known. Local tourists throw their trash like it's a landfill.
Hope it stays unaccessible so that the beauty of the place is preserved.
Awesome, the longexposure effect is superbe !

A view over Boudhanath, one of the largest Stupa in the world where hundreds are coming each evening to walking around this monument as the recites the mantras OM MANI PADME UM or else. I've seen people who lost their legs still coming here every day to spin around for as much times as the got beads on their necklace! We can do more than we can think of us, that's for sure and this place is one of the kind to realize that.
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture from my country!
You are most welcome, it is my pleasure to share my travel experiences.

Xi'an - City of the Terracotta Army
Here you see the beautiful city wall of Xi'an. It is well-preserved and measures about 14 km. You can it explore it with a bicycle or by feet.
Xi'an is mainly known for the historic site, where the Terracotta Army was found in 1974. It's also part of the Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum, the first Emperor of China.

In October of 2016 I spent the month in Nepal and made the 8 day trek to Everest Base Camp independently, along the way I made new friends and met loads of wonderful and interesting locals. This photo was taken by a new friend at the top of Kala Patthar, a mountain which has a 5500m peak facing Mount Everest.

While On the way To Rara Lake
This place lies near On the way to Rara Lake. I don't really know the exact Name of this place since there was no any Symbol-Board and no people lives around there. But this was really a awesome place. Mainly those Rocky mountains above the road are fantastic, specially during winter it has all ice frozen around it.

This is one of my favorite photos, which I took when visiting Angkor back in February this year. It shows a scene from Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple) in eraly morning light.
I went to this temple a few times early in the morning to be one of the first people in there, which gave me enough time to photograph the temple without any tourists. It's a magical place and full on interesting wall carvings, here an Apsara Dancer.
Hence I call this photo Apsara
This really is a nice place. These temples are awesome and authentic. Good shot!

Took this photo of a baby elephant in Thailand on my last trip there. This was taken in Chiang Mai on an elephant sanctuary where they rescue abused elephants and take care of them. This little one didn't have control of his trunk and would swing it around wildly.

Enjoyed River Rafting at Shivpuri Rishikesh, India.
This is India’s one of the most demanded adventurous water sports. I was with my friends. We started our rafting from Shivpuri. It takes 2-3 hours from Shivpuri to Brahmpuri, total distance of 11KM. Then from Brahmpuri to Rishikesh. There are some major rapids on this starch like Roller Coaster, Club House and Hilton. It was an amazing experience.
It seems like mixing with mountains and water.
Truly pleasant atmosphere. Eyes are visible.
What kind of photo do you like in this competition? And how to tell the rules. @czechglobalhosts
