Oh good, I was hoping that would be visible to others and not just in my memory. I watched it form and was blinded for a bit after - big red blobs in my eyesight for about 5 minutes. Guess I shouldn't stare into the sun.
Aw. thanks so much @melinda010100. I have to drive to see a full sky as well. I've gotten some great sunset shots with the houses blacked out at the bottom but I prefer big sky. I so want to move back to where we used to live. But....sigh.
I love my house, and living next to.the river, but I grew up on the prairie and I miss the sky. I can't see weather approaching and my sunsets and sunrises are so limited down in the river valley. The one thing that could convince me to move from here would be a view of the sky!
Your house locations sounds lovely - I have seen some of your photos. Esp the one with the picnic across the river with your grandson and his tea cups from the restore
I too would hire and pay movers if I could live in big sky country again.
I love it when the sun plays in the trees like that! Hello from another Canadian country girl (on the other side of the country). Upped and followed. I look forward to more of your posts! :)
I see it like you caught the movement of the sun that is gradually trying to get through the trees inside the forest. I really like the light in the first one, around abandoned caravan.
I can see a sun dog in the last photo - all the photos are beautiful and remind me of Frost's poem, Stopping By Woods

Beautiful sunset! I wish we had a good view of the sun set and rise but we don't here in the city.
The city always has to ruin the sky doesn't it??? hehe
My sunset view looks very similar to this! I have to go a few miles if I want a clear view of the sky. Beautiful photos!
