Good evening my friend. How are you today, hopefully fit and healthy in carrying out your daily activities. Today, I will share some moments in commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia which were held by the public, especially in commemoration of the historic day of the Indonesian nation which is now 75 years old.
It has become a custom to welcome Indonesia's Independence Day which is greeted with great fanfare by all Indonesians, especially by holding various competitions and entertainment for the community to celebrate this historic and sacred day.
As was done by residents of the Ibka Complex, Ureunkot Village, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City, Monday (17/08/2020) held various competitions and entertainment, especially for children to better understand the meaning of the Indonesian nation's victory day
Although it has a simple nuance, it contains philosophical values in maintaining harmony, mutual cooperation, togetherness and complementarity, as was the case in gaining independence previously carried out by fighters.
Various competitions that are deeply rooted and commonly held, such as the typical competition on August 17, include tug-of-war competitions, eating crackers, inserting nails into bottles, jumping sacks, playing sarongs, and other traditional competitions.
Maybe this is what I can share, I hope you guys like it as an experience in other regions in Indonesia. Thank you
