Root Bridge - Jembatan Aka, Kab. Pesisir Selatan West Sumatra

Jembatan akar merupakan jembatan yang terbentuk dari jalinan dua akar pohon yang tumbuh bersebrangan dan membentang di atas aliran Batang bayang Kecamatan IV Nagari Bayang Utara. Masyarakat Padang menyebutnya titian aka.
Jembatan ini memiliki panjang 25 meter dan lebar 1,5 meter dengan ketinggian dari permukaan sungai sekitar 10 meter. Dibentuk pada 1890 dan baru dapat digunakan pada 1916. Dengan kata lain, proses merajut akar menjadi jembatan ini membutuhkan waktu selama 26 tahun. Kini kondisi nya semakin lama semakin kuat karena akar pohon beringin yang membentuknya semakin besar.
