It was a small part from season 1 I believe. That Asian chick that ended up being a Cylon was his girlfriend or something and he was trapped on that planet for awhile after it was bombed out by the Cylons.

I don't know if they went back there at some point in the show. It has been 10 years since I really watched it. That show was so awesome!
