Photomag competition - Macro Monday: Little ant

I took a picture of this little ant last summer.

This ant makes its way between the flowers on a large bud of an onion flower.

It's amazing how these flowers look. Non-opening buds remind me of tulips.

And the blossoming flowers have a very bizarre shape.

Nikon D5000 + Sigma AF 17-50

I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
