Hi! Here is another one closeup shot with a big green grasshopper that I took this summer.
He was huge! He had large antennas and wings.
I have never seen such large grasshoppers and have not seen them fly. It turns out he knows how not to jump and fly straight like a huge butterfly.
Not a very pleasant sight. Small grasshoppers are much nicer.
