What if we apply this principle to ourselves ...after all, we are all leaders of at least one...that of ourselves.
Perhaps you have a leadership role over pets, children, employees...a wife....in which case you can see this Principle deserves a place in our thinking.

Beautiful watercolor! I love this timeless truth as a leader with relaxed mental attitude would make much more rational decisions as opposed to the choppy, stilted, manic decisions of one with an overly excitable attitude. Patience is the name of the game.

I am delighted to see you provoking a discussion around the theme of objectivity. It seems we now live in a world where objectivity has no relevance to many people, perhaps even most. They believe the entire human experience is a subjective one, it is not.
I fully accept that a large part of our experience is indeed subjective but certainly not all of it. In our world today people have become too self absorbed and arrogant claiming 'everything is subjective' as their excuse. However, it is just that - an excuse.
People use subjectivity to immerse themselves in a world that is all about them and their feelings, it all adds to the erosion of community and society, as if society doesn't exist but it does.
I am pleased we have thinkers like you my friend @bleujay in our Hive community.

Sorry @bleujay, I just now saw that this is your new watercolor and a new post, I think I checked for a fresh post the day before yesterday, but I didn't see one.
As always, there is reason to be amazed at your skill and courage in working with watercolors, which is very difficult and requires a clear understanding of paper and water, not to mention the palette of colors.
As for the principle of the day... hahaha, this is exactly what is the informational message of my posts, based on the sometimes complete lack of objectivity of those who cannot be biased by the regalia that they have hung on themselves like epaulettes and stripes. But you know that you can't expect objectivity, the Lord hardens already hardened hearts in order to achieve the result He needs :)

NB ...if I may say a word,...my recommendation would be to post as if it is in the Lord's hands...say nothing...even our Lord said...when things go wrong...wear your best clothes when you leave the house and let no man know your situation. There is a particular person here who was down voted for a year or so...he said he just kept on posting...he is still here.
Spiritual growth @bleujay, is something that does not stop with age, if you nurture it. There is always something to learn, and in learning there are mistakes. You are right, maybe I did not want to consider this in the light of bisser and pigs, so harsh lol, to leave the dead to bury their dead, in essence, this is right, but there were cases in Scripture when those who knew the Lord took steps to reach out to the consciousness of those who were essentially their enemies, so Pharaoh did not immediately lose his firstborn ... but we know that it could not be otherwise, yes, this is exactly what I will do now, in my soul and in subsequent posts, I am talking about a smart suit :)

I find myself in leadership situations and it is just an exercise in patience. That patience sometimes makes good results I would not have otherwise seen for sure. Patience to let things run their course and give people the leeway they need in order to achieve for themselves is a must.

Indeed, because everyone has a different frame of reference...it can take time to come around to another's idea/approach. Yes...patience is the ideal tool...in the leader's pocket....accompanied by objectivity.
If possible I always try to include options...so that the client comes away with a sense of choice.

Indeed ...I am sure you are having an impact...most people probably find it difficult to talk about...they know something has to be done and really cannot see how to solve what seems an unsolvable problem.
To be sure you have not wasted seven years....even if all they did is buy silver...as a result of your posts.
And really if a person has Integrity, they are going to pass on to others the good information they have so that others can benefit even if the recipients cannot understand....that is how Integrity works. No worries @pocketechange ...really!

Hahahah. You’re very optimistic! I have been lethargic intermittently and bursted with nervous energy from time to time. It would be nice to be able to keep consistency.
