RE: Autumn gives the chance to catch the last warm rays of the sun

Not only are you two beautiful ladies,(as a 52 yr old Mother & Grandmother, i can say that) but I really enjoyed your story. It is nice for people to enjoy the climate of the country they are born in. I think you are right in thinking, "God knows where we belong, and we are born there". I also find it funny to hear you declare "Russia is a temperate climate" I think most of us in the United States would never think of Russia as a temperate climate! Anywhere it gets below freezing for a sustained amount of time, I would consider a harsh environment. It just goes to show, what you are used to has everything to do with how you feel and think about it. Even here in the US, I could never imagine living in one of the Northern states. Having been born and lived my entire life in the South, I feel the same way about the cold climate as you do about the hot climate of Africa. We live in the Southern United States of America, in Atlanta Georgia, which is a hot temperate climate in my opinion. Meaning, it gets very hot here in the summer, but we also get a few days or weeks of freezing weather in the winter time. Of course, if the freezing or below freezing temps last too long, we don't know what to do! Snow here is a once every couple of years event, and then it is usually on a couple inches @ most that has every one rushing to the grocery store to stock up on necessities, lol! And heaven knows Southerners cannot drive in the ice or snow! All of the schools close if it snows, and the children spend their "snow days" rollicking in those precious few inches of elusive winter snow. The fall and spring are both goregous perfect weather, but these two perfect weather seasons, are extremely fleeting in Georgia. Spring quickly turns very hot after just 3 or 4 weeks of beautiful warm weather. And the beauty of colored leaves and cooling weather of fall, that gives us a break from the searing Southern heat, quickly turns to winter. Of course, those few days or weeks of winter, can just as quickly suddenly turn warm in December or January. I recall several Christmas days wearing short sleeved shirts, and just as many, wearing sweaters and down coats. I guess that is the beauty of living in the Southern United States, you never know what kind of weather you are going to get!
