Today i made a ride to Abades, Tenerife into an abandoned town that was supposed to become a sanatorium for some sick unfortunate folk. The project was halted and a ghost town remains there. As usual i have made a detail panorama that you can zoom in and explore a bit before making a main post. Enjoy.
I heard about this place when I was in Tenerife but didnt get a chance to visit. Man it looks epic, creepy, but epic!

Wow, I love this place. It is really intriguing, especially when you hear the story. If you didn't tell it, I would have thought it was meant to be some post office, or a train station or a temple...

You are right. If you thought it was supposed to be some entertainment park the feeling would be different, when you know it was meant to be a sanatorium for the sick people it really gives some creeps and shivers :) And you hear strange sounds lol
seems like similar to Crete Spinalonga - abandoned leper colony and the fortress island :-)
