This was an absolutely spectacular sunrise over my favorite valley in the Blue Mountains and you can see in this image why they call them the Blue Mountains.
This photo was taken more than an hour before sunrise. Zoomed in on the horizon the first hints of sunlight bouncing off high cloud in the distance. The colour on this morning right through to sunrise changed and evolved as the sun neared closer to view. I love these mornings, rocking up and seeing colour already in the sky is usually a good sign that sunrise will be epic... most of the time ;)
