Hi Steemits! I want to share with you a part of how our low plains live the summer…

That summer, a couple of years ago, we visited the Hato El Cedral, a beautiful cattle ranch and the most important ecological reserve of the country and one of the most vitals of the world.

Summer is synonym of drought, the vastness brown landscapes with a few tints of green fill our eyes.

One of the main attractions of this amazing place is the spectacular wildlife BUT we went in summer and that means part of the mammals and reptiles hide waiting for winter. 17381385243_7a6a140168_z.jpg

However we enjoyed watching the powerful Orinoco Crocodile, some say crocodiles are distant cousins of dinosaurs. The guide told us, once a group tried to lift her with a Toyota 4 runner and the truck almost ended up in the stream where Rosita lives, and yep, that's her name ;)

More of this experience in an upcoming post ;)

Bellas fotos.

Is the first picture a capybara? Maybe a coypu?
Certainly a beautiful part of the world.

Yes! It's a capybara, we Call them "chigüires" they're pretty common in our plains :)

It's a magical place! I'd love to go back There
