Yes. You are right. And I think as well this hashtag should only be kept for real first members. Sorry for that. But I kept following das hashtag during the weeks, and there is an amount of content there which is not "New on Steemit", but new with something. I am not new like now, but I am still figuring out. I posted about my paintings and started to connect in that area. I wanted not like on Instagram or Facebook just post pics. Here I can do more. I thought, ok... I skip more and more over here. If everybody would be on that project, I would not use most of the other social media platform anymore. So it is all a developmet and there are a lot of grey zones. I did not use the "introduceyourself" hashtag how it was planned, and I did not use it, in the ways of my idealistic thinking. Therefore you are right, and actually it is damn cool, that you do such things and telling people. .... But I want, that you do that to any other user as well (and I think you do it already since a while), but you have to say this to everbody who is giving any handshake with capitalism. I am doing it to other users as well, when I am browsing the tag, so it wasnt just to you. Other users with higher level are also doing it either manually or using bots such as cheetah and steemcleaners.
There are 1 million accounts on Steemit, it is not an easy job to go through one by one only by a handful users.
Sadly it is an ongoing problem we have on Steemit. Since you already could see there are tons of abusers, please don't be part of the problems.
