Short Story | Many Pictures.
In Maastricht, a town in the very south of the Netherlands, my dear friend Ilse and I spent the the few weeks before her graduation together. As we spent more time together, we changed from being friends to being sisters. Even though we both are in different places now, I still look back and cherish the memories of us together. We were truly young girls with big dreams, aiming for the stars, spending hours together at night, losing ourselves in deep conversations about love and life, ambitions and dreams, aspirations and inspiration.
She saw my true colors and I saw hers. I must say, we both are not perfect. But we supported each other. We accepted each other.
One day we went to Sint Pieter Hill. There, on the hill, you have a view over the town and a beautiful sunset. She had her camera with her for a project and we took some shots together. This is the result of it.
In the picture of us together, you see two people, you decide what emotion or feeling to tie to it.
