This is a rather unusual capture for me because panoramic distortions are main compositional tools here. Usually I looking for composition which can hide panoramic distortions and camouflage it between scene natural curved lines. In such case people even can't tell is it panorama or not.
But in this photo I wanted to emphasise the bend of Mzytma river and intentionally use panoramic technique to bend river and embankment with Rosa Khutor houses to make it more prominent and catchy. What do you think?

While I got used to more conventional panoramas and panorama with such distortion looks like one shot with cellular phone, I can understand the attractiveness of breaking rules and trying something new. Stepping beyond acceptable and usual is what drives us further!
That was a amazing photography.
Even jus by looking at the photo that you didn't want to miss the River.. That's really amazing. This is a peculiar thing about your clicks, you like to capture different contrasts of the surroundings. Here you got more than three or four contrasts, with sky being kinda gloomy, mountain with diff flavour and the lighting and flare of building and then off course the River. Applause
