Finally we arrived to Granada - our main point of interest in Andalusia 2016 trip. It was evening, just an hour before sunset and I was in a big hurry. I dropped the luggage in the hotel room, took my camera and tripod and almost run toward Alhambra - ancient Moorish Castle and the heart of Granada.
My first capture of the Alhambra Castle was made from Generalife Gardens. It was November and the trees in the Gardens was painted in awesome autumn colors - orange, red, yellow. These colourful trees made a great foreground in my composition. The weather was pretty bad and the rain was almost on us, but the evening light was still good.

The foreboding darkness of the clouds adds to the beauty of this picture. I hope to one day be able to travel as you are, although my skills with a camera will not produce a testament as your do. The variation in leaf coloring on the trees do add a nice contrast as you mention.
