RE: Bio luminescense in Jervis bay.

Incredible stuff from the steemit photography section. If not for the detailing about what it is, how it is captured and for if not for @curie who has selected it as the exception blog I would never realize the importance of this snap.

To be honest I have to google for to know what exactly is bio -luminescent wave One of the best part of steemit, that learning of new stuff) and now I know why this photo is important..I am quoting it here the definition from Wikipedia

Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. It is a form of chemiluminescence. Bioluminescence occurs widely in marine vertebrates and invertebrates, as well as in some fungi, microorganisms including some bioluminescent bacteria and terrestrial invertebrates such as fireflies. In some animals, the light is bacteriogenic, produced by symbiotic organisms such as Vibrio bacteria; in others, it is autogenic, produced by the animals themselves.

May be it would be useful for those who never heard about it like me
You could add little brief like this next time when you post such rare snaps.

Thanks, the photo looks great and your effort in stacking of 25 snaps to make it more effective is really appreciable.

Cheers, Keep steemimg.

Sure I can add a little more to the description you've added, so thanks for that.
And thanks for your kind words!
