The island of Cyprus is located in the north-eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. The island is shaped like a fish. Cyprus has even a tail of land. Sunny weather and moderate heat. Hilly terrain in some places. Now Cyprus is ideal to relax. You will like it. My friend sent me these photos to share with you:

The earliest mention of Cyprus is by Herodotus in the 5th century BC.
Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 due to an ongoing land dispute leading to a political split on the island. Reunification talks are still ongoing.
Cyprus was experimented upon by the EU and IMF during its 2012-13 financial crisis in which depositors found their accounts holdings diminished due to a national "bail-in", or recapitalization of its national banks.
Cyprus is a super cool place with a very diverse and engaging history. Cheers!
