Some time back, I had the opportunity to visit a luthier’s workshop.
A luthier or a maker of stringed instruments (eg: guitar, violin) happened to be moving studios when we visited. My eyes popped! The number of subjects that I could take pics of!
There were ready made guitars, guitaleles (hybrid of a guitar and a ukelele – errr – what else?!! lol), violins, not to mention curious shapes of instruments-to-be. There was also a collection of pieces of raw wood – wonderful wonderful textures!
Here are a couple of black and white images I collected. I hope you will like them.
On the shelf ~ shapes... almost distinguishable... of what is to come...
The smooth sleek finished instruments bound for some musicians' fingers...
Fantastic shots and wow what a cool experience and photo opportunity
Yes, I was most pleased to visit him... he's a cool guy too!
Great photos, like the topmost best. It could be almost anything if you don't know what it is. It could be a art museum architecture in Bilbao therefore :)
I know... I love this photo but was initially not sure about including this, or even posting this anywhere... Glad you like it! Thank you, Bragi! :)
