After some curating and chatting it up on Steemit.chat I noticed that the weather today was flawless. Having been sitting inside and working most of the time lately I thought I'd seize the opportunity and go out for a longer walk and snap some photos of my little town.
As I went out I noticed I forgot my headphones, oh well, not the end of the world I thought and since I was too lazy to walk back I just went ahead. Finally got to the park where I was thinking I'd be able to snap some good pics and after a couple snaps my phone battery went under the limit that allows for taking photos... my luck.
Anyway, managed to snap 2 photos hence why I called this Part 1, if tomorrow is as nice weather I'll go back and snap some more. Hope you like these, Finland is really beautiful during the summers. :)
I really liked the colors of this tree that had started blossoming, so thought having it in view would be nice, I'm not really an experienced photographer at all but its fun to try stuff out. :)
As I finally got to the park I snapped a last one before my battery decided to drop down to 5%.
A buddy of mine, @ausbitbank shared this song with me a couple of days ago and I really enjoyed it, thought I'd share it here with you since it fits a bit for us crypto-"nerds." :)

Man behöver inte vara en professionell fotograf. vad skulle ha varit ett bra foto. Det viktigaste för att kunna se och förmedla vad han såg. Jag har inte en kamera, ta ett foto billigaste telefonen. Ja, är kvaliteten inte så bra, men eftersom naturens skönhet fortfarande sänder))

Yeah, its alright and quite peaceful, but the winters sure feel long and dark and cold, wouldn't mind changing it up a bit in the near future.
Summer time is amazing though and I can see myself coming back here for that every now and then. :)
How about culture, politics, education, etc? We are told here in the US that Finland is a magical place for education.
Not too involved with the politics here to be honest.
Culture sure is different, people like to tend to themselves, work and look to retire with a cabin on an island on the Archipelago. People also like to drink a lot here which I myself never really understood.
Education is nice cause compared to the U.S its free here, of course living as a student you won't have much extra spare money but student loans are available with almost no interest. Although lately its been changing a bit considering the economy in general.
For the first attempts it is well done. Finland would provoke me as a tourist destination and, above all, as a photographer....
Looks pretty good place to visit, if altcoins keep going up like this year, I would stopby Finland on my world tour after a year or two.
