in #photography7 years ago (edited)

I visited India twice in 3 years. What a wonderful experience I had and could never easy to forget.
Considered as a photography trip, I took lots and lots of photos and printed them into hard cover photo books in teo volumes.

I had been to New Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Khashmir, among others. No doubt that India is a beautiful country, rich with culture, unique, worth spending every second of the sightseeing to the country side an historical spots.

Taj Mahal

In this posting, I shall put together some memorable pictures that i had captured during my visit to Agra, where the Symbol of LOVE stood still since 1632... one of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal.

I am not going to elaborate much on the famous White Marble building, which is actually a huge tomb, built by Emperor Shah Jahan to place the remains of his beloved favorite wife, Muntaz Mahal. The pictures will tell their own stories.

I was so lucky to get the bird flew across my lenses in front of the main entrance.

Whatever people might say about the love of Shah Jahan and Muntaz Mahal, building a beautiful tomb for his beloved wife to rest in peace , was a great effort. It took 23 years to complete, involving many architects and engineers, thousands of workers, Hundresd of elephants, tons of marble from all over the world to symbolize his great love.

What have we done, so far?

HAPPY VALENTINE’s DAY, people....
