When I was walking in jungle, I found this woman was cooking for her family. Uniquely, she cooked with traditional way instead of modern one. The firewood was the first choice to get the food cooked. Perhaps, this cooking method was so old fashioned, and it is no longer regarded as effective way to serve the meal. I heard one saying "Traditional cooking is far healthier than the modern ones." I am not here to judge which one is bad or good. I just want to show you some pictures of traditional cooking and here are the results.
Once you entered the jungle, you got to adapt yourself with this kind of stuff. Jungle is going to take you to get used to cook with this way. Perhaps, it is quite usual sight for people who live in the hinterland, and they don't complain about of having no modern stuff to please their family.
Seriously, it's been long time, I dont see this such activity. Yes, in 80's we often noticed our mother cooking anything with traditional way. Because, there were no modern cooking apparatus found. The years jumped, most people refused to cook with old fashioned way, ineffective, spending more time and many other reasons, it was left.
She has no worry about the advance cooking stuffs that are displaying in city's shops. She insisted to use firewood as the main source.
It is just a jungle kitchen, movable, easy to rebuild. She is quite ready to respond the changeable weather that happened around.

Living in the jungle must be a great way of living for those that are used to it.
I can imagine they dont have to worry much about anything. The ingredients are handy because most of them farm and hunt what they eat.
They are much healthier than we are, because they take in less chemicals than we do. They live very simple and less complex lives .
Being close to nature is also a great way of living.

Walau sdh modern, tapi saya melihat akhir akhir ini sudah banyak yang telah kembali menggunakannya, seperti air yang dimasak. Mungkin masyarakat kita sudah banyak mengetahui akan bahaya air yang dijual bebas.

Ibu kita semuanya memasak dengan cara seperti ini dulunya, sebelum ada LPG. Benar,cara seperti ini sangat sulit memasaknya, banyak asap dan makanan penyajian makanan yang tidak tepat waktu. Tapi uniknya makanan yang dimasak dengan kayu bakar lebih enak daripada dengan kompor gas. Sukses selalu buat @abduhawab

Foto-foto ini mengingatkan saya akan kehidupan tempo dulu, dimana para warga memasak dalam wadah, yang terbuat dari tanah liat, dan memasak tanpa meggunakan kompor minyak tanah, dan kompor gas, tapi saya salut dengan ibu ini, beliau tampak bersemangat, dan merasa bahagia, terlihat dari aktivitasnya. Yep, tempo dulu cara seperti ini kita bisa temukan di tiap rumah tangga, tapi seiring waktu berubah, banyak dari rumah tangga tersebut beralih ke alat modern. Karena alat sekarang, lebih efektif dan simple..terima kasih @midiagam
