Putting On The Dress
Putting on the wedding dress is one of my favourite parts to a wedding day! It's when all the preparations that have taken sometimes over a year start becoming real! It's when the Bride gets those nervous, excited feelings and when she becomes a princess for a day! This amazing room was part of the decadently decorated castle this Bride had chosen to get ready in! All original, from the wallpaper to the furniture it was so beautiful! I wanted to make the room part of the scene for some of the getting ready shots and thought the colours were really amazing, I chose to shoot it from the back at the beginning getting all of the Bride's stunning dress in the shot! I love how it came out, almost like an old painting that wouldn't have looked out of place on the wall in this castle! I love to bring drama in my photography and if I can create shots like this I am always happy!

I always find it a pity we get to see to little of the back of a dress in wedding photos, which is a great shame, especially with the detail on this dreamy number! Very intimate and you can feel the nervous tension in the room.

You definitely chose the right location/place to take the photo at.I love the fireplace behind since it represents such a nice element on the photo. I doubt it could be more professional than what you've done = )
