📷 An Evening at the World's longest Street

With almost 1,900km, Yonge Street is officially the longest road in the world and is even in the Guinness Book of Records. It begins in Toronto, directly on the shores of Lake Ontario and ends in northern Ontario. Besides its incredible length, Yonge Street is also the most central and important street in downtown Toronto. It is well visited at any time of the day or night, especially at the intersection with Dundas Street, where these two photos were taken. I particularly liked the atmosphere at dusk there and tried to capture it photographically.

Mit fast 1.900km ist die Yonge Street offiziell die längste Straße der Welt und steht damit sogar im Guiness Buch der Rekorde. Sie beginnt in Toronto, direkt am Ufer des Ontariosees und endet im Norden Ontarios. Neben ihrer unglaublichen Länge ist die Yonge Street auch die zentralste und wichtigste Straße von Downtown Toronto. Zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit ist sie gut besucht, vor Allem an der Kreuzung mit der der Dundas Street, in deren Nähe auch diese beiden Fotos entstanden sind. Ich fand die Stimmung in der Dämmerung hier besonders schön und versuchte, sie entsprechend fotografisch festzuhalten.
