Hi Folks!
Such a giant trees can be found across the Polish coastline by the Baltic Sea.
Old beech forests are growing on the high dunes, these forests are very old and now are under protection - these forests protect the whole coastal area from erosion.
After many years of water and wind erosion, many of these trees have their roots growing above the ground level which looks simply amazing - like a legs of giant ents... or a wooden octopus.
This particular shot is a panoramic photo, made of 6 vertical shots on 16mm. So it is large in original :).
Hope You will like this one - as it is one of my favorite shots from my last trippin by the Polish castline :).
