Hi Folks!
There are many places on Lofoten Islands where You can feel the real spirit of the north and discover how the people used to live and still living the same way as in the past.
Nusfjord is a small village placed among the high mountains by the Vestfjorden fiord.
There is only one road leading there so there are moments during winter when the village is cut off the main road and civilization.
Small red and yellow houses looks really tiny comparing to the mountains around it.
Small harbor is great place to visit the museum where we can see the original artefacts from the past, where we can get know a bit more about fishing history of Lofoten and much more - and of course - feel the mood of the place.
Back in the days Nusfjord was one of the main fishing harbors on Lofoten.
Traditional architecture of 'Robuer' houses, the sound of seagulls, smell of the sea...
During the season we can also visit nice cafe where we can buy and try some local products.
It is also a great place to rest and feel the atmosphere of the place.
Right now I am planning to organize a photographic trip and workshops in Lofoten during autumn 2022 and winter 2022/2023.
