Hey Steemit,
It's been a minute. I've been out of cell service looking for quality Waterfall Wednesday content. Thankfully I found a good one.. just off of a logging road in the Mount Baker Wilderness. It was a multi-tiered and super-neat. I'll start from the bottom.
I'm standing down at the river, looking up at my friend Mason. He provided some needed scale to the place. I really love the layers of these waterfalls.. really cool.
Standing up at the main falls, the largest of the group. Notice the little rock cairn on the left?
Up on the next level- another waterfall. But that isn't the end of them.
My friend climbing up to the next tier.
The last one we made it to. It reminded me of a miniature version of a previous waterfall I posted, Abiqua, down in Oregon. I'd like to come back here in the summer some time to swim, but for now.. too cold, ha. Thanks for reading!
Oh, and happy first day of spring (though I'm a day late).

Yeow! What awesome photographs of this amazing
waterfall! The top photo is so dramatic! The boulder
looks like a fossil claw or toe jutting out of the side
of the mountain. Your friend sure looks small in
this so vastly beautiful scenery!
The geology of those pools is special, what a gem!
I see the stack of stones in the next photo. I wonder
how far up this falls goes? Be most amazing to see
this place in each seasons colours and in person :-)
Oh wow to visit when the water is warmer and
swim in her pools. Summer solstice sounds like
a good time! Happy vernal equinox ☀
This is spectacular.
I live in Washington and we look to see it if is road accessible.
The immense scale of the waterfall in the firat image couldn't be imagine without the person standing in front of it. It's really amazing! Impressive photos as well, you did a great job here @nathanielwise!
